Young Herbal Care
A herbal majun in the Unani style — powdered herbs kneaded into a sweet base, so a potent formulation is easy and pleasant to take.
The product
Made by Young Herbal Care, Majun-E-Afghani follows the traditional majun method: herbs and spices blended with a sweet binder into a smooth, spoonable paste.
What it is
Majun — also spelled majoon — is a semi-solid preparation used in the Unani and Ayurvedic systems of medicine. Powdered herbs or minerals are combined with honey, sugar syrup or jaggery and kneaded into a soft confection.
Rather than taking raw powders, which can be bitter and hard to swallow, the sweet base makes the formulation easier and more pleasant to consume.
Botanicals and, in some formulas, minerals, finely ground.
Honey, sugar syrup or jaggery holds everything together.
Worked until smooth, soft and ready to take by the spoon.
